What YOU can do for YOUR Neighborhood"

Neighbors and Stakeholders
If you haven't secured space for this weekend's Disaster
Preparedness Orientation, now's the time to do so. We are again asking that
adults bring one or two young people (teens or high school students) with them
for orientation to the grassroots strategy we are to employ in building up our
community preparedness. Veterans, retired and active Police & Fire workers
as well as current ROTC students.
This is an important short session, aimed at preserving
momentum in our preparations. Specifically we will touch on neighborhood "Winter
Plans" as snowstorms are the immediate
threat right now.
Be sure to bring note taking materials, as well as relevant information in printed
form, which may be copied for sharing with our DPI teammates. Remember this is a
community Team building effort which will leave us in a much stronger position
to face disaster situations. The fringe benefits will be extremely valuable with
a successful completion of the objectives we're faced with. We are looking for
persons with "ASSET MAPPING" and calligraphy skills, as well as skilled photographers and project
managers.
I look forward to seeing you this Saturday. This is an
historic initiative. Remember to RSVP, if you have not all
ready.
