Genesis Housing has been awarded $1,000,000 to weatherize homes and apartments (below 6 flats) in Chatham, Auburn Gresham, and Greater Grand Crossing. We will conduct a blower door test to reveal potential savings and add up to $6,500 worth of repair work for air sealing. We make safety repairs first. There are also dollars for emergency repairs (furnace and boiler). This is free for low income families.
