Our condolences to the family of The Black Star Project's Chief of Operations, Dorothy Davis.  On top of her duties as Chief of Operations, Mrs. Davis was the lead program operative for many Black Star programs including Safe Passage, Daddy Daughter Dance, Million Father March Parade, Saturday University, all mentoring programs, financial operations, human resources, facilities management, resource development and much more. 

Visitation for Mrs. Davis is Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm at A.A. Rayner and Sons, 318 east 71st Street, Chicago, Illinois.  Her funeral is on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 10:00am - 12:00 noon at St. Dorothy's Church, 450 East 78th Street (7800 and South Eberhart), Chicago, Illinois.  Phillip Jackson, Chairman of the Board of The Black Star Project says, "I miss you."
