Grand Crossing Park Neighborhood Network
"...What YOU can do for YOUR Neighborhood"

Neighbors & community partners, our next monthly meeting will be:
Tuesday December 09, 2014
St. Mark Manor
840 E. 76th st.
6-8pm

Season's greetings! As we close in on Christmas, Kwanzaa and the New Year challenging times are now before us. Policing in America is front and center and the call for change is loud and clear. The Grand Crossing Park Neighborhood Network has been working toward the type of proactive, positive change the people have suddenly seemed to realize. We are ready, but as we've know for years the people have to find their role and fulfill it in order for it to be real and lasting. We have an opportunity for heroic, historic, comprehensive empowerment for our neighborhoods. Time to step up and a part of the solution.

Kwanzaa time is almost here and we urge all block clubs, citizens and and other participant of our annual tradition, to be ready to produce another shared resources event.
Please make your phone tree calls at this time!
Our agenda, this month, shapes up as being;
  • The Ferguson incident as catalyst for changing CAPS in Chicago
  • Problem solving the community calendar crisis
  • "DPI- 60619" and our "Winter plans"
  • Final Kwanzaa event planning
  • Completion of our year end mission review
