NBA Region VII to Sponsor Oratorical Contest for
High School Students
The 2015 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drum Major for Justice Advocacy Competition is quickly approaching. The regional event for this year will be held on Saturday, May 2, at 11:30 a.m. in a conference room provided by MetLife at the PNC Centre located at One North Franklin, in Chicago, Illinois. Do not let this wonderful opportunity pass by your student. It is truly an outstanding chance for high school seniors to: (i) receive funds for college, (ii) hone skills that will serve them well in life, and (iii) meet and interact with a number of influential members of the greater Chicago area. In so many ways it is a door of opportunity awaiting for a student you know to walk through. As with other coveted opportunities, the door will not be open for long. The deadline for essays is Friday, April 24, 2015.
