CHICAGO, IL – In
an effort to stimulate the local economy, state Rep. Elgie Sims (D-Chicago) is
partnering with state Sen. Donne E. Trotter, Cook County Commissioner Stanley
Moore, Jr. and representatives from Chicago State University to host a
Community Job Fair on Monday, March 3 at Chicago State University’s New

“As state representative, I believe that providing resources
to help put people back to work is priority number one,” Sims said. “The job market is constantly changing and
the most effective job search methods are always evolving, and this community

more effectively. I encourage job seekers throughout the area
to stop by our free event on March 3.”
The job fair will allow applicants to speak with company
