CMS will host a Virtual Office Hour session
via WebEx on Tuesday, June 23 from 1-2pm ET to discuss the
Physician Compare website. During this session,
CMS will answer stakeholders’ questions about Physician Compare and public
reporting. Anyone interested in participating can register by sending an e-mail
to the
Physician
Compare support team. You can submit up to three questions (one primary and
two secondary) either with your registration or in a separate e-mail. All
questions must be received by 5pm ET on Monday, June 15.
CMS is particularly interested in feedback
from consumer groups on the need for information on physician office
accessibility and on the specific details that would be most useful to people
with disabilities. Groups wishing to share questions about adding accessibility
information to Physician Compare are encouraged to do so in advance of the
session. Advance submission will help ensure that CMS is prepared to
respond.
