Gang Violence with Knives and Guns

What about the gang violence plaguing our community? The teenager was killed for his jewelry: he was part of a street gang known as the White Ts yet when they were threatened by his return with a knife to reclaim his jewelry, he was gunned down by gang members behind the Laundromat at the corner of 79Th and Vernon Avenue, leaving him to run toward the Burger King looking for help before falling to the ground in the parking lot to die within minutes.

Latest developments in our community

We involve your comments about the activities and the events now shaping our exciting community. Specifically, the need for all of you to know of the proposed new library now being planned at the intersection of 79Th and King Drive to cover the entire block up to Vernon Avenue and being under consideration for two full stories with a computer lab for children and serious treatise examination and perusal by adults. And we want to know your thoughts about the recent shooting and murder of the teenager who was killed for his jewelry when gang members gunned him down at the corner of 79Th and Vernon last week.
