Rain Ready Flood workshop, Saturday Sept 26th 11am

Grand Crossing Park Neighborhood Network
"...What YOU can do for YOUR Neighborhood"
Dearest Neighbors and Stakeholders,The Center for Neighborhood Technology - "Rain Ready" program will be leading a flood issue workshop at Pastor Thurston Church,
77th & Cottage Grove, this coming Saturday from 11am -1:30pm
This is vital capacity building coming our way. This week has been brutal for some in out neighborhoods, with flood waters destroying property, leaving a stinking, messy aftermath.
It's time to get smart. Be proactive. Join with others for a sit down, community strategy session on how to avoid flooding and water issues. We need everyone out because blocks can direct the city to install flooding devices which will push the problem onto the next block. We must coordinate. Smart is as smart does...
Just because you haven't flooded, doesn't mean you won't!
See you there
