Tomorrow, Saturday June 6th at 9am, there is an event being put on by the
"MMRP" (Neighborhood recovery advocates) at 81 & Maryland. There will be a
collective clean up / spruce up of the intersection and then a free BBQ social
BBQ.
This is, of course, a networking event done to stimulate interest and send
a message of revitalization. The idea is to get available hands and create of
"can do" spirit which will hopefully spread and take hold. As area
stakeholders, this is in our best interests to support this initiative.. All
available hands on deck!
It is anticipated that the free BBQ will open folks up to make necessary
contact with self starting people as resources for future aims.
