Whites Flock to Use Computers at Whitney Young Branch Library

The ten (10) computers in the adult section and the twelve (12) computers in the juvenile section has attracted a lot of white patrons to the Whitney Young Branch of the Chicago Public Library at 7901 South King Drive, mainly in search of job opportunities and applications online for adults and children's games for the kids who are often brought in by their babysitters. A nice touch for diversity of our intellectual resource for our community. We, at the Chatham Avalon Park Community Council look forward to the new constructed library which may hold at least thirty (30) computers for adults and juveniles, each.

Define "a lot".

4 white people would be "a lot" in this neighborhood. I am always staring when i see the occasional white person.

Please take some photos, or at least provide some times...i want to see them for myself.

Don't be so skeptical or cynical...there are there...lots of white people...children and adults...and they are most welcome to use our community resources.

If there are so many whites flocking to our neighborhood why does our Alderman state that you are making a factless point. See http://www.facebook.com/pages/Concerned-Citizens-of-Chatham/79909419550?ref=mf. The December 4th posting.
