Do you think the City should float a $15 million dollar bond issue to fund the construction of a new aquatic center at the vacant lot formerly the site of the Rhodes Theater at 79Th Street and Rhodes Avenue. Leave your comments on the comment line.
Are you crazy? There's no space for something that significant. ANd who wants to raise the issue of bonds in this economy?
It would be more economically to use the property owned by CAPCC along King near 83rd as an Ice skating rinks, if nearby businesses will donate thier ample parking for the community.
Yes lets do that. Let's waste some more tax payer money. We just spent $100,000 resurfacing an Olympic size swimming pool at Tuley park that is under utilized and spent $250,000 on resurfacing tennis courts that others use. So waste $15 mill makes a whole lot of sense. You are brillant lets vote you in as governor.
