There is section 8, but the real question is: Why does the Chatham Avalon Park Community Council want to keep African Americans poor and out of OUR community?
I have neighbors who are section 8...you do need to put in a little effort and educate...but after that, you can help grow the community with them..
Chatham should have been declared a Section 8-free zone by City Council ordinance with a Planning Council like that in Beverly to screen newcoming residents in apartments and houses.

Again what is your verifable source that says Chatham offers Housing Choice Vouchers or "Section 8 housing? And what is wrong with it?
