SOUL's Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Celebration, Rally and Call to Action!

We, at the Chatham Avalon Park Community Council had the pleasure to attend Soul's Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Celebration, Rally and Call to Action! on Sunday, January 11, 2009 in a meeting that lasted nearly three hours, at St. Mark United Methodist Church in which its pastor, Rev. Jon McCoy, called for community organization and community outreach to address the needs of the community at large in light of the Inauguration of the First African American President of the United States, President Elect Barack Obama.
