Longtime Chatham Resident and Former Illinois Attorney General Roland Burris Sworn in for his United States Senate Seat

We, at the Chatham Avalon Park Community Council, are very proud with the swearing-in, seating, and installation of long-time Chatham resident, former Illinois attorney general and comptroller Roland Burris as the junior Senator for the State of Illinois in the 1st Session of the 111Th Congress yesterday afternoon in the U.S. Senate chamber by Vice President Richard Cheney.
