Our January, 2009 Monthly Meeting

We, the Chatham Avalon Park Community Council, held our January 2009 Monthly Meeting at the Auditorium of the Whitney Young Branch of the Chicago Public Library, 7901 South King Drive. The ongoing crime wave with the effect on the local long-time residents was discussed as well as the underlying drug taking and drug trafficking that is the basis of all the trouble in the community, violence involving guns and mortgage fraud.
