Help MC LYTE #EducateOurMen

Help us #EducateOURMen this #GIVINGTUESDAY

WHAT HAS HIP HOP SISTERS FOUNDATION DONE?

1. Each year since it's inception, Hip Hop Sisters Foundation has presented hundreds of thousands of dollars at the Soul Train Music Awards. We also presented a $50,000 scholarship on the Steve Harvey Show.

2. We have partnered with organizations to provide financial education and inspiration to people in the United States and in South Africa.

WHAT IS #EDUCATEOURMEN?

#EducateOURmen is the signature initiative of Hip Hop Sisters Foundation that supports and develops African-American men.

#EDUCATEOURMEN SUPPORTS AFRICAN AMERICAN MEN BY:

1. providing need-based scholarships to obtain undergraduate degrees primarily from HBCUs

· money to help you go to school after you have tried everything else

· money to help you stay in school with funding for tuition, books, room and board and travel

2. providing access to career and personal mentoring

· helping you get to know more about the field you want to make a career of

· introducing you to people who can show you how to make changes to your life that will benefit your journey

3. increasing cultural education and social responsibility

· giving you examples of how your lives should be lived

· how to respect your elders

· how to treat a woman like a woman

· loving your family and neighbor

· showing respect to those you communicate with

· listening - reasoning - being courteous

· being mindful that you are meant to lead and protect your family and your community
