Grand Crossing Park Neighborhood Network
"...What YOU can do for YOUR Neighborhood"
Self determination must be at the core of what we do in our neighborhood. Create a voice, foster the growth of young leadership, stand for what is right in the community and for the community. Don't let outsiders determine the course of events for your neighborhood. in 2016 the Greater Chatham Initiative will come into play and we can have a say in the course of our community's destiny, or will it vanish and be completely restocked with the legacies of "others".
If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you. Be self-determined!
The difference between the possible and the impossible lies in a person’s determination. Be self-determined!
Don’t let others define you. Don’t let the past confine you. Take charge of your life with confidence and determination for there are no limits on what you can do or become.
In order to achieve success, one must have the determination and the will to succeed.
Self-Determination [Kujichagulia] along with consciousness, is the key to defining our own lives and controlling our destiny.
In 2016 let us be determined to a better, safer, more prepared and more harmonious as a community as we press into the future.
