How much is he paying CAPCC to back his proposal?

Also, why did it take posting this on TheSixthWard to get them to post it.

And second, will the CAPCC blog actually post any results from tonight's meeting?

So what were the results of this meeting?

This is one of the most important things CAPCC is doing, and this blog is posting ANYTHING on it, other than from whatthey read on another blog???

So why don't you answer the other question, Why are you avoiding the issue?

So you are admitting that you are being paid to back this proposal because I did pay monies into CAPCC when I was an officer.

So what ever happen to the economic plan for Chatham. I mean bringing in businesses representative of maintaining the status of the community. There is so much talk about WalMart. What's wrong with Meijer? Did anyone try to get them? How would the community know? What happened to Barnes&Noble?

What is the process for approaching these businesses? Is there a committee headed by the alderman and reps of community organizations?

It appears as though we just wait for whomever to come into the community and then we react by saying there is nothing we can do about it and they didn't have to tell us. Is that how Beverly, HydePark, north side and other communities political and community organizations react? Seriously, tell me how this process is suppose to work.

I went to Tropical Island the other night and there were 3 police cars sitting in the Pride cleaners parking lot. 79th street seemed to be pretty quiet that night. It seemed like the mere presence of those cars made a difference in maintaining order.

This is a tactic used in Cuba. A policeman is assigned a 10 block radius. Within the 10 blocks he moves from one block to the next just standing on each block. The mere presence of an officer deters crime. I know there are differences in Cuba vs US such as in Cuba people dont have guns like they do here. But I think the presence of law enforcement does make a difference.
