DPI - 60619 Orientation XV - "Water Reclamation"

"DPI - 60619" Plan now. Work together. Be Ready.
Dearest Neighbors and Stakeholders,
Commissioner Steele of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) is gracious enough to come out and answer a few questions about her role in serving us as an elected official to that office. Her current concern is that we understand the sewer system that ushers dangerous waters away from our basements.
There was an article in the December 27th Sunday Sun Times on the mutlti-decade "Deep Tunnel project", it's benefits and pratfalls. Something we all should be aware of and have questions on for the authorities. I had no idea they were nowhere near being done with building it. Thought they completed it some time ago. If you can read that story before the orientation.

What are the concerns? Time again to raise awareness. Think we need to ask questions?
