Missing Pages Lecture Series will present nationally known speakers to provide a 45 minute presentation and 30 minute Q&A on a specific topic based on a current exhibition, the Illinois Amistad Commission curriculum, and/or current events. In addition, lecturers from history, politics, culture and social sciences, will offer presentation on historical people, events, facts and figures that typically find limited affirmation in many textbooks and media. The aim of the Missing Pages Lecture Series is to bring focus to events, activities and achievements throughout the history of this country and the world.
