Evans in Action
|
|
As summer gets into full swing, the first session of
the 99th General Assembly continues into July. We are still working through the
state budget to balance fiscal responsibility with compassionate service
delivery.
It
is my belief that as we move forward we must carefully examine cuts to fully
understand the potentially devastating consequences. Personally, I am
particularly dedicated to working to protect many of the human services
programs and line items that assist our most vulnerable citizens.
As always, I stay dedicated to continuing to serve you, our 33rd District
and the entire state of Illinois. Have a safe and joyous Independence Day
Holiday weekend.
All the best,
Marcus C. Evans, Jr.
