Citgo is hiring $27/hour, plenty of overtime. Please get the word out and make sure that people register - the link to register is at the top page - by January 23rd at 4:00 p.m.
Please mention you were referred by CBA.
It is preferred that you upload the resume BUT IS NOT MANDATORY. Anyone who registers is eligible for interview; testing does not begin until March 4th. That gives CBA time to work with your candidates at the tech center (or you can do it independently) and shapened up on their math -- some fractions skills.
For those who register by the 23rd and go through the interviewing process, Citgo keeps your application for 3 years and only hires from that pool for the next three years. Citgo anticipates a high retirement in addition to their immediate hire needs.
Citgo has agreed to look at "backgrounds" on a case by case basis; so don't let that hinder you from applying.
There are three components you can practice that would greatly increase chances of employment; Citgo suggests perform (1) Mock interviews with candidates (communciation is important) and they have a zero tolerance for violating saftey issues; (2) math skills; samples provided were math word problems; and (3) cognitive testing.
Again, Citgo would like to increase their minority workforce pool; and CBA can work with you and your organizations to help get our folks ready. Any questions don't hesitate to let me know. Thanks
