With the Family Workshop

Your teen probably wants to spend most
of his/her free time with his/her friends. But he/she still needs to know that
you are there for him/her and support him/her. The Workshop will provide a safe place
for parents to discuss how to create moments to connect with there teen.
Social Media is a
leading distraction in the family. The goal is to assist parents to target in on
the distractions that causes a division in the family. Reconnecting with the
family will have a positive impact on the entire family and enhance the students
focus on his/her academic advancement.Our goal is to assist families in living
safe and sober lives by providing educational opportunities,, in -home therapy,
and parenting
• Fulfilling Your Potential Workshop
Saturday March 7, 2015 1:00pm
-2:00pm
Having
a positive view point is necessary to motivate the child to realizing his/her
full potential. Parents will participate, examine and discuss the essential
levels of psychological development connected to fulfilling one’s potential.
This workshop is interactive and will allow parents to determine their role in
forming their child’s desires to achieve, leading to a realization of one’s
capabilities in high school and beyond.

Parents and Community Members assemble together to discuss ways to be engaged
and involved in the students’ education to ensure academic success at Simeon
Career Academy and beyond. Information is distributed from CPS to parents to be
informed and aware resources available and activities planned by the
district.

Title I Parent Policy
& Parent Compact Review Session
Saturday March 7, 2015 11:00am
-12:00pm
The PACs exist to
provide parents/legal guardians, teachers/staff, and concerned community
individuals with the opportunity to work with their principal in the planning,
design, implementation, and evaluation of the Title I Program. Join the PAC to
review the 2015-2016 Parent Policy and Compact designed by parents in alignment
with the school continuous improvement plan.
