Meanwhile CCoGCRP and Sustainable Englewood are coordinating
on an expanded effort lead by Jean Paul Thomas to begin tracking the projected increased levels of pollution by the increased intermodal business. Listen out for more news at our next monthly meeting.

PS August monthly meeting is Tuesday, August 6th, 6:30-8:30pm at new location if no one objects. Plenty of free on-street parking in well lit area.

We are gearing up for the second CREATE "Get-on-Board" Business-to-Business Exchange specifically tailored for the rail industry and CREATE partners on October 16, 2013 at The Ford Chicago Assembly Plant, 126th at Torrence Avenue, Chicago, IL,
9 am-12 pm.
This CREATE business networking event will connect rail industry executives, government transportation agency heads, and prime contractors with certified and experienced disadvantaged, minority, and women-owned firms seeking contracting and sub-contracting opportunities in engineering, design, construction, and support services with CREATE and other rail projects planned for Illinois. As you know, our first "Get-on-Board" networking event was held in 2010 with tremendous positive feedback and a full-house in attendance.
