Toys for the less Fortunate
Chatham Food Market and the Salvation Army has partner in providing Christmas gift to Chicago’s less fortunate families. Through the Salvation Army ANGEL TREE PROGRAM.
The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program provides new clothing and/or toys for children. A sponsoring company places a Christmas tree on location. The tree is decorated with numbered paper Angel tags with the first name, age and gender of a child who will receive the gift. Contributors remove the tags from the tree and purchase appropriate gifts for the child described on the tag. The toys are then delivered to the home of the parent to distribute to the child/children on Christmas day.
Angel Tree Program tags can be picked up at
Chatham Food Market
