Nearly 6.8 million people have already signed up through HealthCare.gov. If you don’t enroll in a health insurance plan before the end of open enrollment, you won’t have coverage for 2015 unless you qualify for a special enrollment period. So if you haven’t enrolled yet, now’s the time to do so. Here’s why this is so important: Financial help: When you apply you'll find out if you're eligible for a premium tax credit this year, or even a $0 or low-cost health plan. 4 out of 5 people got financial assistance to help lower the cost of premiums in the first month of open enrollment.
