[cps_citywide] For Displaced teachers looking for work

Apply for each and every position that you can possibly can apply for. Even if it is 200 positions.

Access these positions at https://www.cps-humancapital.org/app/. Once you logon, you must then search for the appropriate job category and within job category look for positions specifically identified as “Regular Teacher –FSD” or “Part-Time Teacher – FSD”.

Email the union at leadership@ctulocal1.com, once finished applying to tell us which schools you sent applications to. That way we can monitor the process and ensure that CPS is following the letter of the interim agreement. We also suggest following up personally witrh each school you apply for.

As of now, we only have until Friday to get our applications into the system. The instructions for applying are below. Get this done right away. We have asked for an extension, but we do not yet know if it will be granted.
