How about inviting street magicians and street jugglers up and down 79Th Street between King Drive and Cottage Grove Avenue to entertain the children and liven up Chatham? Leave your comments on the comment line.
This post takes this blog to the bottom. You do not give readers recaps on your meetings, community events and other community issues and expect people to take it seriously.
Here it is the community needs to raise approx $250 to $1.0MM for honorary buildings and playlot at Cole Park and you say nothing here about it. The FOTP are doing more than you are and they do not live here.
I think this particular post is fine, and i actually agree with the general concept...having more entertainment of some kind out in the neighborhood can make it more attractive...i am not sure they would be able to earn money. But i would also like to see them in high traffic areas like 79th street El (in addiiton to the "bucket boys), and at the July 17 picnic.
i wouldn't be as harsh as worlee, but we really DO need to see mroe info on what CAPCC is doing...

This is sad.

At least give us the minutes of the meetings.
So while we are at it lets put on black face and sing Mamie. We have 12 acres of park land underutilized and we want to dance a jig on 79th street.
It would liven up Chatham at least just a bit.
