Hey, How About This: Be a Beekeeper!!!

The way to combat obesity in Chatham is to become a beekeeper. It only takes a few hundred dollars, a half hour a week in time, and there are many apartment house rooftops to put the hives. Honey bees are responsible for pollination of all of the flowers, crops, and fruits needed for the availability of fresh produce in stores like the Chatham Food Market at 327 East 79Th. So why not be a Chatham beekeeper...they are desperately needed in a time when the bee population in the United States is sharply declining due to disease. Our healthy food supply depends on these honey bees. So give it a try. It would be a great boost to urban gardens in Chatham, which all of your neighbors would appreciate!
