Did you read Mary Mitchell's column in the Sunday Sun-Times (May 2). Commander Eddie Johnson discusses crime in Chatham. What did he mean when he said "......If black people themselves let thugs destroy a Chatham"?
You would think that with all the block clubs and community organizations in this area, we would not have much crime. Its not the number of organizations, its the participation of the community.
