Mortgage Relief Outreach Event



Hello Friends of Genesis,

I am contacting you to request your participation and other local Housing Counselors, Legal Assistance Agencies and Social Service Groups to support our Annual Mortgage Relief Outreach Event on Saturday, June 21, 2014, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the
Apostolic Church of God, 6320 S. Dorchester, Chicago, IL 60637. We anticipate more than 100 families to attend this event and with your help we can better accommodate those in need.

Please join us for a day when hundreds of families get a chance to preserve the American Dream! We have secured the Loss Mitigation Team of Wells Fargo to participate in this year’s event. If you are interested in participating or sending staff to the Event please complete and return the attached Participation Form by June 2, 2013. Volunteers are also needed as support staff! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Join Genesis Housing Development Corporation, Members of the Stable Project, Homeownership Preservation Teams and Community Partners… Discuss workable alternatives to foreclosure and gain access to other resources that may be available to you!

Participants MUST bring copies of the following…




Signed and dated Hardship Letter detailing why it’s difficult for you to make your mortgage payments. List of ALL household expenses per month (actual expense monthly statement would be beneficial)

For each salaried borrower:







For each self-employed borrower:





Most recent quarterly or year-to-date profit/loss statement reflecting business name, gross/net income and business expenses, complete tax return with all schedules, and three months of business bank statements

For each borrower with income such as Social Security, disability or death benefits, pension, adoption assistance, public assistance, food stamps, or unemployment:







For each borrower relying on alimony or child support as qualifying income:
