"PRESERVING THE AMERICAN DREAM"

In a collaborative effort to fight rising foreclosures in the Mid-South Community Areas of Chicago, Genesis Housing Development Corporation and AGORA Community Services Corporation is leading a collaborative effort of HUD approved housing counseling agencies along with advocacy groups, community partners and the Loss Mitigation Teams of Bank of America, Wells Fargo and CitiBank together offering solutions to Preserving the American Dream!

This is an exclusive Mortgage Relief Event for Bank of America, Wells Fargo and CitiBank borrowers who may have challenges making a mortgage payment to receive on-site "face to face" assistant. Additional resources and information will be available for those in attendance like "Making Home Affordable Programs", retention options and much more…

Donnie Brown, Executive Director of Genesis Housing Development Corporation, stated, "Helping homeowners stay housed is the first step in the fight against homelessness and it means that there is one less vacant house in the community, bringing down property values and creating havens for crime and blight. We’ve got to keep people in these homes."

The FREE event will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013; 10a.m, to 2p.m. at the Apostolic Church of God, 6320 S. Dorchester, Chicago, IL. Additional information about the event and a list of documents you must bring can be obtained by visiting the Genesis website at www.genesishdc.org or contacting Steeve Kidd of Genesis at (773) 285-1685 ext. 304.
