Chicago Teachers Union Executive Board
member Jennifer Johnson blew the whistle
on these astroturf progressive organizations pretending to work
for the people
while taking in millions of dollars to privatize public
education.
This shows that one person can make a
difference!
The petition provoked a
barrage of responses, with Chicago teacher Jennifer Jones
[sic] drafting a
letter on a MoveOn.org-affiliated site, SignOn.org, to the founder of Change.org, demanding that the website "Stop
Supporting Union-Busters." Jones' letter has collected roughly 4,000
signatures.
