The crime wave in Chatham has two Illinois State Representative considering calling in the National Guard. State Reps. John Fritchey and LaShawn Ford, both Chicago Democrats, are calling on the governor, Mayor Daley, and Police Superintendent Jody Weis to use the Guard to clean up the city's streets.
