Community CAPS Meeting
Building capacity for a better quality of life in the community.
Dearest neighbors stakeholders & community partners,
The Greater Chatham Initiative, which is the high level socio-economic plan for this community, is about to launch into the next phase. Crucial will be our efforts, as the grassroots stakeholders, doing our part in executing basic, sustainable citizenship, role modeling and restorative justice, in public safety, where we live.
This means engagement, involvement, participation and education - on our part; Not dependent on government, but sustaining ourselves. This is big for us as a community. So, I implore your involvement. If you haven't been particularly involved up until now, now is the time to step up and get with the beat.Beats - 321,322,323,324, 411,414,623,624,631,632 & 731 are within the scope of this effort.
Again "Community CAPS" is the signalling the future of improved police service and crime and disorder abatement in our neighborhoods and city. Together we must all ensure that CAPS issues are at the top of our collective awareness. Our grassroots need tending. Our 'collective efficacy' depends on it.
