Legion Park Volunteers Needed to Complete Legion Park Playground! Legion Park Fibar Day Volunteers Needed to Complete Legion Park Playground! On 11/5/14 Chicago Park District and volunteers will help spread the playground surface in the new Mayor Rahm Emanuel's Chicago Plays! playground at Legion Park playground. Fibar is the wood chip material that lies under and around swings, slides, monkey bars and other playground equipment. Date: Wednesday, November 5 Time: 9:00am- 12:00pm Location: Legion Park Playground, 3100 West Bryn Mawr Avenue (meet at the playground) Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age. Please dress appropriately and most importantly please wear closed toe shoes: sneakers or boots. You will be working with wheel barrels, rakes and the like.
