Hello PAC member!
Honor your fellow PAC members who have demonstrated their commitment and dedication to preserving, protecting, and improving Chicago's parks and open spaces at the 2013 Friends of the Parks Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon.
Louise McCurry, Omega Delta Youth Baseball League (Hoyne Park) and the Friends of Kilbourn Park Organic Greenhouse are being honored for the amazing work they have done on behalf of Jackson, Hoyne, and Kilbourn Parks over the years.
In addition to the awards Friends of the Parks is thrilled to have Peter Harnik author of "Urban Green: Innovative Parks for Resurgent Cities" as the keynote speaker this year. Peter will discuss how parks such as Millennium Park have made a big impact in urban areas.
