Our September 2009 Monthly Meeting

We, at the Chatham Avalon Park Community Council, held our monthly meeting for September, 2009 at the Whitney Young Branch of the Chicago Public Library on September 14Th. In the final four pictures: Linnae W. Bryant, CPA, J.D. introduced herself as a candidate on the same day for election for Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois--1st Judicial Sub-Circuit. Jeanette Forman, of BERA talked about economic development of the 75Th Street corridor in support of businesses and restaurants because of the extensive renewal efforts now under way. Attorney Carl B. Boyd introduced himself as a candidate for Cook County Circuit Court Judge for election on February 2, 2010. Kari K. Steele, daughter of Illinois Appellate Judge John O. Steele, is running for a seat on the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago.
