Easy Fundraiser with Jewel Osco

Dear Friends and Supporters,
We are having a fundraiser with Jewel Osco. When you shop at any Jewel Osco store on the following dates April 20, 21, or 22 and provide the checker with a signed and dollar amount entered Shop & Share identification slip. Jewel Osco will donate 5% of what you spend to our Arthur Turnbull Memorial Scholarship Fund. Slips can be picked up from any board member or from our office at 8441 South Cottage Grove Ave. Thank you for making a positive difference in the lives of our youth.

Condolences

To the family of Lester Smith the President of Chesterfield Community Council we extend our
condolence for his passing. Lester was always helping someone in the community, in the church on his block or wherever there was a need. You needed to do nothing but call him, he would always reply "I'll be right there" Lester's presence will be missed but his spirit will live with us forever.

Sub-Area V Meeting

A meeting will be held in sub area V on April 4, 2009 at Mather's more than a Cafe' 33 east
83rd from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Residents that live between King Dr. and State street 83rd
to 87th should plan to attend. Valuable information will be disseminated. Additionally,CPR
training and certification will take place prior to this meeting. Individuals wanting this training
