Just curious -- who is Rev. Dr. Marc A. Robertson? (i.e. what church does he pastor?)

Also, i know that CAPCC has had a meeting at Chatham Fields Lutheran Church. Seems like a good spot for the Area 6 meeting...?

Please allow me introduce myself.
My name is Rev. Dr. Marc A. Robertson. I'm currently the Sub-Area 6 vice president. Mostly everyone who is actively involved with CAPCC knows who I am.
I'm an ordained Baptist preacher. I hold a master of Arts in Religion from Trinity Evangelical Divinity school. A Master of Divinity from McCormick Theological Seminary and a Doctorate in Ministry from McCormick also. I was the associate pastor for 7 years at Olivet Baptist Church. I'm currently interviewing for senior pastor. Until then, I wait on the Lord. My passion is community work and serving people. I have a responsibility to uplift those who are less fortunate than myself.
This is what I'm called to do. We need more men to be actively involved in our communities. We must rid ourselves from apathy and fear which keeps us from moving forward. We must take back our neigborhoods from those who don't share our core values. We must maintain the historical legacy of Chatham. JP Paulus I hope you share the same values I do in taking back our neigborhoods block by block. I look forward to shaking your hand in the near future. WE MUST LEARN TO WORK TOGETHER. THIS IS OUR NEIGHBORHOOD. Together we stand or divided we fall. I'm right where God wants me to be as a community leader. I touch and reach more lives in the streets than I do in the church. I communicate with our block club presidents who are doing an outstanding job with meetings and bringing their blocks together. Chatham is an aging community and it's time for young strong men to get off the sidelines and get in this game. The struggles continues..... Many Blessings to All and Happy Thanksgiving. GET INVOLVED !!!

Well its good to see a response from this blog. As you eluded to in your meeting you are now the administrator of this blog. I will speak for both Concerned Citizens of Chatham and The Sixth Ward Blog we are more than willing to work with you, as long as this blog does not revert back to rumors, over exaggerations and flat out lies, as our purpose is to develop an online presence for Chatham and the 6th ward.

Brother Worlee, your comments are noteworthy. However, as we move forward in trying to maintain a healthy and stable community, let's remember "He that is without sin among you let him first cast a stone" (John 8:9).
Stay encouraged my brother. We'll get it right..........ONEDAY !!!
We must continue to build a strong community. Are you with me?
Rev. Dr. Marc
Sub-Area 6 Vice President
