Young Democrats of America National Convention

As you may or may not be aware, the Young Democrats of Illinois are hosting the Young Democrats of America 2009 National Convention in Chicago at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, 2233 S. Martin Luther King Drive. The bulk of the convention will run from August 5-8, bringing in over 1,000 young Democrats from around the country. Convention attendees will participate in trainings, hear from speakers, decide on the national platform and cast votes in the election for national officers.

In order to make this convention a success we are asking for your help- we are looking for volunteers. There are many different volunteer opportunities, from being a tour guide to helping with registration to answering questions from attendees. If you can give a few hours, or more, of your time during the convention period please let us know. You don’t need to be a member of the Young Democrats to help.

If you don’t know exactly when you can help but are still interested, please respond to this email and include as much information below as possible.
