Our Monthly Meeting for November, 2008

We, at the Chatham Avalon Park Community Council, held our monthly meeting at the Whitney Young Branch of the Chicago Public Library Auditorium yesterday evening reflecting with the attendance of Alderwoman Freddrenna M. Lyle (6Th Ward) and Justice John O. Steele (Municipal Sub Circuit, now elected to the Illinois Appellate Court) about the election of President-elect Barack Obama (D) and his upcoming inauguration in Washington, D.C. on January 20, 2009. It was with great pleasure that we congratulate his election to the nation's highest public and national office are are well aware of all of the great amount of work before him and his new administration.
